Yoichi Nagumo is a major supporting character in Sakamoto Days and an old friend of Taro Sakamoto and Rion Akao. He is also a former member of the Order. He is first seen paying a visit to Sakamoto to inform him of his bounty.
Appearance
Nagumo is a tall man with medium-length black hair and large, dark eyes. He is often seen wearing a polo shirt with a large trench coat, black pants, and formal shoes. He has also been shown to wear different colored or patterned shirts underneath his trench coat. Additionally, he carries a briefcase on his back, which contains his signature, large, Swiss army knife-like weapon.
Tattoos
Nagumo has many tattoos, most of which are hidden by his clothing. His tattoos are inspired by mathematics, particularly referencing the Golden Ratio.
Notable tattoos include:
- A Fibonacci Spiral on the left side of his neck.
- Two rectangular tattoos on both hands, referencing the golden ratio.
- The formulaon his right forearm.
- Various designs and symbols on his fingers and legs.
- Quotes from Anton Chekhov and Arthur Schopenhauer on his arms and side.
Personality
Nagumo is characterized by his laid-back attitude and constant smile, which seems impossible to wipe off his face. He has a remarkable talent for annoying those around him to the point of making them want him dead.
He is easygoing and carefree, even in the midst of intense battles, and often plays with his opponents. However, when it comes to his friends, he reveals his true emotions and shows deep care for them.

- Overall Skill Level: Nagumo is a former member of the Order and one of the strongest assassins in Japan. He was considered one of the top prospects at the JCC alongside Sakamoto and Akao.
- Master of Disguise: He can perfectly imitate other people’s appearances and can significantly alter someone’s body shape.
- Master Combatant: His coordination and skill make him a deadly fighter, able to defeat stronger opponents through trickery and strategy.
- Master Marksman: He is proficient with firearms and ranked highly among shooters at the JCC.
- Keen Intellect: Nagumo has a sharp mind and is highly perceptive, able to deduce plans and recognize spies easily.
